The Ski Museum is nominated for the National Museum of the Year award 2011
The Ski Museum in Holmenkollen, together with Glomdalsmuseet, Lofotr Viking Museum and Norsk Teknisk Museum are nominated for the National Museum of the Year award 2011. The winner will be announced on the evening of 25 August.
New Festival in Holmenkollen this summer
The new festival "Kollen" will be arranged for the first time this summer the last weekend in June. The festival will last for two days and Rihanna is opening the show on Friday 29th of June.

What we can offer
In addition to a great view over Oslo from the top of the Jump Tower, we can offer two souvenir shops, a café and the Ski Simulator. Free parking and toilets.
The Association for the Promotion of Skiing and Oslo Municipality
Oslo Municipality is the owner of Holmenkollen. The Association for the Promotion of Skiing is responsible for the daily operation of Holmenkollen.

How to get here:
In order get to Holmenkollen you can take Metro 1 towards Frognerseteren. Stop: Holmenkollen. Follow the signs to the Ski Museum and Ski Jump. This is a ca. 10 minute walk from the station.
You can easily plan your journey by visiting www.trafikanten.no
If you would prefer to drive, you should follow the signs to Smestadkrysset, from which the road continues up to Holmenkollen. If you have a GPS system you should set it for Kongeveien 5. Free parking is available adjacent to the Ski Museum and Ski Jump.
